Simeone Napoli Brings Fine Italian Suiting To Scollard Street

SIMEONE NAPOLI
Yorkvillers have a new place to go for Italian suits made from fine silk, cashmere and merino wool blends. After hosting a swanky pre-launch trunk show at the Shangri-La last spring, Milanese label Simeone Napoli has set up its first permanent home in Toronto. Shoppers will find racks full of slick head-to-toe ensembles - but much of the menswear on offer is slightly more playful, and meant for mixing and matching. It's all about layered looks: the brand's double-breasted plaid blazers go great with casual khakis and cashmere sweaters fit nicely between Egyptian cotton button-downs and lightweight sport jackets - and this wool coat effortlessly tops everything off. Since there's no distributor, the store's slightly less expensive than neighbouring Harry Rosen or Holts Men. Made-to-measure blazer and trouser combinations start at $1,000 and bespoke tuxes go for $2,500.
Yes, bicycles can be practical pieces of decor (especially for brands championing a European lifestyle).
One of the best selling merino wool pea coats is on the right. They sell for over $1,000.
Patterned bow-ties are made from Italian silk.
